My Follow Directions and Make Shapes Packet

Forming shapes can be hard! In addition to tracing shapes, one thing that has made things a little easier for my own child, is connecting dots at the corners. Start at a dot, follow the direction of the arrow, and draw a line to the next dot. This works wonderfully for shapes with corners. I included a traceable circle, oval, and heart in this packet. The star shape included is a numbered dot to dot so it wouldn't get so confusing using so many arrows. Each page shows a shape and it's word, then has a small set of directions as to how to make that shape at the bottom of the page. The directions also include for your student or child to color the shape in a specific color after they have drawn it.
